Dolkar Kyi, who set herself on fire and died in Tibet yesterday, was a mother of two young children.
The 26-year-old leaves behind a girl aged five and a boy aged two, as well as her husband.
Chinese military trucks
After her protest, 15 military trucks were deployed to Tso Monastery, scene of the self-immolation.
Three monks were detained Choephal, Sherab and Tsundu.
Tibetans ready to protest
Local lay people and monks have said they are ready to protest if the three are not released. The authorities have admitted to holding Sherab and Tsundu in detention but not Choephal.
