Prisoners 2008

Throughout the year, you have supported individual political prisoners such as Runggye Adak and Jigme Gyatso.

With your donations, we were able to campaign on behalf of the makers of the film 'Leaving Fear Behind', Dondup Wangchen and Jigme Gyatso. Jigme Gyatso stated that the terrible treatment he recieved in prison improved when campaigning began in his name, and he was subsequently released. Supporters also screened this important film in local venues, helping to give Tibetans the voice which they are denied by the Chinese regime.
