The Tara Art Project is a unique idea by Graham Martin, seeking to get a different, modern take on traditional Tibetan art by assembling some of the world's best known tattoo artists to create a coffee table book on representations of Tara and other dieties in their own personal styles.

Although it is not widely known, Tibetan art is one of the most popular and respected traditional styles to the tattoo community, and this book will provide new insights into how this ancient art is still revered in modern western culture.

Exhibitions of the original works contained in the book will also take place from April 2008 onwards and the launch in around September 2008; proceeds going to Free Tibet Campaign.
