Britain's Tibet policy

The UK is failing the people of Tibet

"There remains little evidence that the British Government’s policy of constructive dialogue with China has led to any significant improvements."
Annual Human Rights Review of The Foreign Affairs Select     Committee

The British Government reversed its position held for almost 100 years and now states that Tibet is part of the People's Republic of China.

Despite more than 13 years of the UK-China Human Rights Dialogue, Britain's engagement with China on human rights has failed.

The Sino- Tibetan Dialogue is the "only forum" for progress according to the British government.

The Dialogue process has not yielded any results so far.
