Current UK law does not allow Free Tibet Campaign to claim charity status and as we wish to maintain our independent campaigning voice, almost all of our funding comes from individual supporters and members. This makes you literally the backbone of the organisation. A regular contribution by direct debit is the most effective way to support our on-going campaigning work. Regular gifts ensure we have reliable income that we can count on which allows us to plan in advance and budget more effectively.
Direct debits also reduce our administrative costs and can be more convenient for you too as they allow you to offer a gift without having to write cheques or use credit cards.
£5 a month can help us print action postcards to reach new supporters and apply extra pressure to politicians and decision makers.
£10 a month can help us organise annual speaker tours so that former political prisoners can tell the world of their experiences.
£50 a month can help Free Tibet conduct in-depth investigations into China’s policies in Tibet and tell the world what the truth about is really happening in Tibet.
