Protests against Chinese continue
One Tibetan has died and two more are believed to have survived the latest incidence of self-immolation in Tibet.
The three set fire to themselves on Friday morning in a township known as Phu-hu.
Scene of shootings
The township is approximately 145 kilometres from Serthar town – where Chinese forces opened fire on Tibetans recently, killing at least two.
The whereabouts and wellbeing of the two who survived, Tsae Tsering, aged around 60, and Kya Ri, aged in his early 30s, are not known.
Chinese military
The identity of the Tibetan who died is unknown as are the details surrounding the self-immolations.
There have been substantial increases in military personnel in the area recently.
