Pictures have emerged of the vigil which was held for Palden Choetso, the 11th Tibetan to self-immolate this year.
The 35-year-old nun set herself on fire on 3 November in protest against the Chinese occupation of Tibet.
Thousands of people gathered at the nearby monastery in Tawu to mark her sacrifice.
