Mass Lobby of Parliament and Tibetan Freedom March

Mass Lobby

10 March 2011

We are organising a mass lobby of Parliament to urge MPs to take action on Tibet. The Tibet Mass Lobby is organised by a coalition of UK-based Tibet support groups and is timed to coincide with the anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising that took place in Lhasa on 10 March 1959.

This year’s Lobby is the first since the 2010 General Election and will be a great opportunity to engage with new MPs on Tibet, showing them the strength of feeling and support for Tibet, whilst also building on relationships with re-elected MPs
.

The Lobby will give a strong message to the government that Tibet will not disappear off the international agenda.

By being part of the Mass Lobby you will be adding your voice to a concerted call for parliamentary and government action on Tibet.
