Write to the Chinese representative in your country.

Urge China to:

• Honour its committment to allow one UN Special Rapporteur per year to visit China and offer an open invitation to UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief.
• Halt patriotic re-education. It violates the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religious belief and amounts to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment and in some instances may amount to torture.
  
• Allow, as a minimum, an independent human rights representative to meet Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, the 11th Panchen Lama, and his family to confirm his whereabouts and well-being.
