Free Dhondup Wangchen

Dhondup Wangchen is a Tibetan film-maker who was arrested in March 2008. He had just completed filming an extensive series of interviews with ordinary Tibetans who had bravely voiced to camera their true feelings on the upcoming Beijing Olympics and the Chinese occupation of Tibet. The interviews were smuggled out of Tibet at great risk and have been made into a remarkable film, Leaving Fear Behind, which has been seen screened in more than 30 countries and which was secretly shown to journalists on the eve of the Beijing Olympics last year.

While in prison Dhondup Wangchen was badly tortured.
