Urgent Campaign Archive 2008
In 2008, protests swept across the Tibetan plateau; the largest uprising for fifty years. Many of Free Tibet's urgent actions concentrated on events on the ground in Tibet, and successes included Gordon brown caving in to pressure to meet the Dalai Lama and filmmaker Golog Jigme being released, stating his treatment improved when campaigning began.
