Finance Manager (Part-time, 28 hours per week)

Up to £30,000 pro rata (depending on experience)

An opportunity for a fully- or part-qualified accountant to take on responsibility for the finance function of a small but dynamic human rights charity. A varied and hands-on role, the Finance Manager will support the Director in the financial management of the organisation.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of Free Tibet and Tibet Watch, in compliance with organisational policy and financial standards. S/he will support the Director in the financial management of the organisation, including the preparation of monthly management accounts and contributing to the drafting of the annual budget. The Finance Manager is also responsible for ensuring we meet our statutory obligations.

The Finance Manager will be the only person at the organisation with financial administration responsibilities and, therefore, will need to be able to work autonomously, managing competing priorities. S/he will be a fully- or part-qualified accountant from a recognised body (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA).

The Finance Manager reports to the Director and Treasurer.
